I don't know if I'd say LSU could hire any coach but I'd say the 'O' hire worked out fine. I'll take the greatest college football season of all time then terrible football afterwards any day.
Plus it just shows that LSU is such an awesome job that when a coonass like 'O' can win there it shows anyone can. I would think it'd make a legit coach want to try it out.

LSU won the title in spite of O, not because of him. Basically what Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys did with Switzer at the helm. Despite the bitching about Leslie, he brought in talent. All you needed was Burrow to finish it off.

Maybe you should geaux go have a look @ the 2017, 2018 & 2019 recruiting classes! While you waiting for that data to pull up, how about you tell us exactly what the 100 million dollar man has accomplished @ GAY&M to date

Imagining Freeze trying to manage the LSU Head Coaching position would be hilarious. He would be distraught. Orgeron gets away with it because he could go all yaw yaw and not have an answer and the fans would say "There goes ol' bebe orgeron.
