With the rise of other programs in the conference, I’m not sure if next year will be any better.
The good thing about next year is that expectations will be much lower and maybe we will play better as an underdog.
It won’t take us long to see what kind of team that we have though.

Some of you must have expected to win the Natty this year talking about we sucked. We should have been better, but what the hell did ya’ll expect? Less than 10 losses in a deep SEC and #1 strength of schedule?
We had stupid losses and are gonna lose in the first round, but dear God we made back to back tournaments in the first time for over 14 years.
Clean house, add pieces that fit the system, and get ready for next year. I’m just as pissed about roster management and how these players have played and demonstrated basketball IQ over this year, but the portal can help fill needs and change this team in less than a year

We made the tournament, but based on our play in the last 2 1/2 months, shouldn’t have.

I'm not gonna apologize for feeling like this bunch played, coached and prepared poorly all year. The proof is obvious to anyone who watched them every minute. I'm glad we made the tournament and it's a nice accomplishment, but the last 8 weeks were hot garbage.
They'll have every opportunity to fix that next year with an infusion of excellent and scheme fitting talent as well as chances in the portal, but they have to prove as a program that the aberration was this year and not last year.

The teqm is gonna be brand new anywqy next year... Theres only a few spots anyhow , i dont know what part of this people dont get when they bitch and moan about roster turnover .

I'm a lifelong Bama fan.. been watching since the early 70's.
I always want us to win..but honestly, I'm glad it's over.
Since the Houston game..we've pretty much been disorganized chaos on offense.. I don't care what stats are..stats are for losers.
We guard nobody.. turn it over like it fashionable..
Oats needs to clean this roster..then sit down with his assistants and do some serious self evaluation.
