So Bo Nix has chosen up his level of whining about the refs?

To local and national media?

Yeah... that's a good look.

Not a good look esp with his part of the blame for the poor play of the offense. But I did notice that Kirby was constantly whining to the refs and there were several missed calls on UGA. How about that face mask no call by jearis jackson even when there was replay to ck if his knee was down. I dont recall Harsin getting in the refs ears the way Kirby does.

Saying the refs missed a call doesn’t necessarily mean he’s pushing off or minimizing his mistakes yesterday.

In both losses he’s bitched about the refs.

Not a good look at all.

He wanted that game bad. He’s also right but I agree he shouldn’t be saying it on the radio. Uga fans and their coach are the biggest cry babies of any fanbase. Kirby may be a bigger baby than even Mullen.

Name a college quarterback that bitches about the refs in a blowout loss.

It is one thing for a coach to work a ref but for a player? That is just whining. SEC refs suck - it is what they do

Quit making a big deal out of it.

Like we've never heard Auburn players complain about officiating?

Don’t care. I wish more coaches/players would call out shite officiating. They shouldn’t be untouchable. They get paid to do a job just like everyone else.

When you step to the plate and start writing the fine checks, maybe the coaches will bitch more to suit your request.

Odd thing about complaints.

Coaches keep their jobs.

Officials are evaluated each week. Lose their jobs at the end of the season and nobody knows:

Coaches can be criticized and fired. Players can be criticized and asked to transfer or whatever else. They’re all fair game but let’s feel sorry for the poor referee.

What do you think is the likelier result?

SEC Officials:

“You know this man certainly made a clear and salient point and we must endeavor in the future to improve our performance to the level this young man, who is barely old enough to legally purchase alcoholic beverages, demands of us!”

or

“frick this brat, we’ll show him!”

Which do you think is more more likely?

It’s the old “Do these pants make me look fat?” conundrum, sometimes it’s just better to keep your mouth shut.

Don’t think either of those will happen. I just don’t have a problem when horrible officiating is called out. Like I said, coaches and players can be publicly criticized. I don’t think refs are above it. That’s all.

Apparently they’re the one job you can’t criticize. Didn’t the Supreme Court make sports gambling legal in all 50 states? Seems like they should be the most scrutinized profession in the country.

If a ref is willing to risk losing their job by intentionally calling/not calling a penalty over a college kids comments then they deserve to be fired.

Who cares? It’s what you get with the NIL. Put players in front of a mic and they are gonna say some crap someone doesn’t like. Bo’s a competitor it is what it is.

When we had Gus people complained that he didn’t coach receivers. Now he’s gone and we have his receivers who douse their gloves in baby oil, and we blame the QB for all things wrong with the team.
