Every year just seems to be another chapter from the same book

Well 20 years ago was a whole different story.
Game postponed to December due to 9/11. Tennessee a 17 point underdog. Travis Stephens runs wild. Gators go for 2 to tie and don't get it.

Spurrier's last game in the Swamp as UF head coach.

This is one reason why I never take this game for granted.

On a brighter note, by winning that game Tennessee went to the SECCG in ATL and that game gave us this golden moment.

So it wasn't all bad.

They shouldn't have felt so bad, because Nick Saban has made a lot of people have that look on their faces around the SEC for the last 20 years.

Yeah that sucked.

All I remember is. little Travis Stephens from Clarksville running wild in the Swamp and Big John Henderson @ DT standing straight up in front of our OL. He was a monster. He and Haynesworth.

Has any other team in the more era shutout the Vols @ Neyland like Florida did in '94?
Just curious.

My cousin in Rock Hill can get a hundred Spurrier autographs for that.

Oh wait, I read that as " Quarter" .

And it really was a gift from the Vols that kept
on giving. Despite the Vols misfortunes, hope
Junior & Lulu are having a great life.

Oh well, you all weren't Tennessee then.
We blanked you with Peyton in your last great decade for football.

The second half of the ‘95 game and first half of the ‘96 game, those four consecutive quarters were an absolute fricking nightmare.

How about 19 years ago in the rain? Vols were ranked #3 and huge favorites until they fumbled 7 times in the 2nd quarter.

Ah yes, good ole Phil Fulmer having fullback Troy Fleming playing tailback. Although when we cut it to 24-13 in the third, I thought for sure that we were going to come back and win. But no.
