He's that furious from the announcement. This team doesn't perform its best at noon. I guess the Vandy game helps in that aspect, but Arky will up and ready for the game.

Emerson just put something out on the Athletic explaining this a bit. Ole Miss/Alabama was always going to be the CBS game, and ESPN doesn't have a 7pm window. They have noon, 6, and 9.

I mean, we should have been the 6. Only reason I can think why we weren’t is because they want the bigger draw at Noon working off the assumption that Bama-OM will be competitive into the 4th qtr and, therefore, nobody is going to flip over to ESPN.

I was expecting a night game for sure.
It will be an 11:00 AM game for Arkansas. That is worse for them than a 12:00 game is for Eastern time zone teams, imo.

Teams who play in the central time zone are used to 11am kickoffs. I don't think that will bother them. It will probably have a negative impact on the crowd though.
