Definitely no excuses now for Bohannon and Co. a roster full of top 15 classes or better. And he’s got most of the kids on campus.

Will be interesting to see how all the transfers affect things long term. Recruiting rankings are going to get tougher and tougher to really project anything with the way transfers are now.
I know we took 6 (non-JUCO) transfers for 2021.

Conference-wide baseball recruiting is starting to look like football recruiting.
You could have the #10 recruiting class and still face 5 teams that recruited more talent than you.

Fall is going to get interesting with our numbers right now. We still have 48 on the roster and will need to cut it down to 40. There are a few I'd expect to be cut but I really don't know who will be among those last 4-5. Hopefully some of them will find a new school between now and then but not looking like it right now. The scholarship and roster limits in college baseball have to change at some point. It's really not fair to the players or the coaches to be in this situation every year

We are so fricked in baseball. I'm betting it will take us a few years to even make the conference tourney. Hopefully this pushes some stadium upgrades for us as well.

Oklahoma being cheap with the baseball program is why Galloway left. Based on his comments after taking the Auburn job, he gave the imporession it was a lost cause, which is a shame because Oklahoma has been a really good program in the past and has the ability to again if they put any effort into it.

You can have the #1 class, multiple times, but if you haven’t found that Friday starter & at least 1 more ace arm then you’re not going anywhere.
