A lot of upperclassmen. The most this team has had in a few years.

Henry and Pool alternated first team reps every day in camp according to reports.

Transfers holding down the D-line. Not sure how I feel about that. Glad we got them I guess.

It’s a good feeling to look at an opening weekend two-deep and not grimace at a few glaring holes for the first time in several years. *knocks on wood*

We got them for a reason.

I like the measurements on the 2 deep OLINE. When’s the last time we saw those numbers?

How TF does Bumper lose that spot to Henry. What am I missing here?

Pool graded out pretty bad last year, lots of missed tackles. Of course he was playing with broken ribs. Maybe just a motivational tactic?

I'd say QB is a glaring hole, I don't think people are giving Felipe nearly enough credit for us winning what we did last year. I'm just not seeing it going well with KJ at the helm

Ridgeway may not play after having an appendectomy.
Burks may not make it either, he's a wait and see.

Franks was definitely the shot in the arm that this program needed to get us on a more stable footing under Pittman in terms of QB play.

I’m not saying we’re going to be retiring KJ’s number anytime soon, but this also doesn’t feel like the dark cloud that it was in 2018 and 2019 when we were rolling the dice with guys like Storey, Ben Hicks and Nick Starkel going into the season and you could bet your mortgage going into week 1 that whoever was starting was not going to be starting by the end of the season.

If I remember correctly, Didn't Jefferson do very well at Mizzou?

He has the wheels, strength and just enough arms to keep Defenses guessing.

I think we will improve in wins, and skill/level of play.

Now, Franks definitely had the arm though... perhaps not the rest overall. He was limited in his mobility, and didn't use his noggin as well as I had hoped.

Franks was a better passer but didn't have the kind of running threat KJ poses. That will give KJ more open receivers.

Not that I'm expecting KJ to come out looking super polished but I'm comfortable with him. He moved the offense down the field well last year when he was in.

Don’t even give a rip about the future. This has been a long misery road for far too many years.

Give me 6-9 wins this season and be competitive in most games and not losing to directional OOC schools and that will tidy me over.

shite, I’m just sick of losing so damn much.

18/33 for 274 and 3 TDs, and a rushing TD as well. Completion percentage was meh, but hard to argue with 48 points on the board.

Yeah I’m not understating where all of the hate for kj is coming from, the only real outing we’ve seen from him was pretty solid and everyone in the locker room seems to believe in him. Besides Hornsby is going to be a straight up baller so if the coaches are starting kj over him there’s gotta be something they like
