That's how the game felt for sure. I just think it's one of those interesting plays that could have gone either way. I don't even know if that is why the ref called it the way he did, but in the end because of that tiny detail, it's the correct call.

Everyone else is focusing on the feet, but that ends up not being the issue.

I was watching that game live. It was a pick. Julio Jones didn't touch the ball. You can watch it on YouTube. It's obvious.

I literally just posted a picture of Julio’s hand on the ball.

How is Julio's hand touching the ball when his hands are clearly behind Pat Pete's hands? Its not like things can change from a dozen years ago but don't make up a false narrative to make yourself feel better about the bull shite call that was.

It is sad to be the best program all-time in CFB and still not admit when you benefited from an egregious call. But tuscaloosa gonna tuscaloosa.

Yep, that was the first call that came to mind. Corey Webster PI on a pass to Keith Brown in the endzone.

While his foot was out of bounds.

Worst i remember was the Clowney play vs Michigan where the play before the corrupt officials horrible spot gave michigan a first down and clowney proceeds to prison rape the ball carroer on the next play and get the ball back for sc.

The officiating at the end of last year’s Arkansas vs Auburn game was atrocious. It rivaled that 2018 LSU vs A&M game.

2014 Iron Bowl. Bradley Sylve comes up with an INT, only for the ref to award the Auburn receiver with a reception

Not posting a GIF but Calvin Ridley ran out of bounds against Mississippi State in 2017 and ran back in. The ref acknowledged he ran out of bounds but disregarded it once Ridley caught the ball and wasnt pushed out until he was at the MSU 1 yd line

Not a GIF but this should've been a MU touchdown. 2018:

Not a "bad call" but still funny. LSU - S. Carolina 2008

Because no one else believes it was a travesty but you? I believe even a NOLA paper said it was legit.
