Well, you can’t prove that, but nobody said he did, and that’s irrelevant. That’s not what makes it an incomplete pass. Julio having his hand on the ball while out of bounds prior to PP establishing sole possession of the football is what makes it an incomplete pass.

I don’t write the rules.

They'll never admit it. They also won't admit they weren't going to win the game either way.

Why would someone admit Julio touched it when he clearly didn’t?

No touch

Bama @ Ole Miss 2007

Skip ahead to 25:00

Rebs down 3, 4th quarter, insane 4th down completion inside the 5 with less than 10 seconds to go in the game, ref reviews the call and decides the ole miss receiver wasn’t forced out of bounds by the defender and that he went out on his own, ineligible receiver, ballgame.

Right in front of ole miss student section too. They threw everything that wasn’t bolted down onto the field

There’s a literal picture on page 1 of three hands on the ball.

ETA: Taken from the same video you just linked.

At the time, I just thought this was serving as their scapegoat for denial in losing to Alabama again, but after all these years and 9 out of 10, I don’t get it anymore. What’s the point?

LSU had a total of 13 first downs all night, and only 250 total yards. But, but, but… !!!1!

A lot of UT fans bring up the 2000 UF game, but UT got legit screwed in Gainesville, twice, in 2001. The first in the third quarter when Tennessee recovered a Rex Grossman fumble that good ole Al Ford ruled a pass. The only issue was the if it was a pass, it would have been a lateral, so it should have been a turnover either way. Then in the fourth quarter Tennessee recovered a Grossman fumble that was once again nullified when good ole Al Ford ruled his forward progress had been stopped. They were both truly atrocious calls and that makes it even more amazing that UT won the game.

Theres literally a picture where you can only definitively see 2 hands on the ball….Patrick Petersons.

To claim JJ touched the ball while out of bounds is either lying (not surprised) or has super human powers.

“ If you can state definitively that Julio did or did not touch that football, you are either clairvoyant or a liar.”
- Josh Chatham, SBnation

Also, that rule you brought up, has only been speculated recently and was never used as the reason at the time or since by the SEC.

If I turn it into a paint by numbers game, would that help?

Please do, won’t change the fact that you can’t definitive see his hands on the ball!

Regardless, that rule wasn’t part of the call or part of the explanation after the game.

So sit down and stfu.

Oh and

Yes, you can. In fact, it’s pretty clear.

He thinks JJ hands are on the ball in those pics…I’m almost embarrassed for you.

Zoom in closer or mark it up again

You’re still forgetting that the rule you mentioned wasn’t part of the call at that time or since.

You actually think that last zoomed pic is definitive…

Nope!

It’s clearly not definitive…wasn’t part of the ruling…even though you want it to be….so keep repeating it.

Or keep zooming in showing definitive evidence of PP hands on the ball.

Are you like 80 years old? Glaucoma? Can you see, seriously?

Here’s the thing. There is no definitive proof either way, nor is there definitive proof he had full possession while in bounds. Call on the field stands.

Thank you for clearly showing pics of PP having both feet inbounds, both hands CLEARLY on the ball and making the interception.

Have you not looked at his zoomed marked up pics?

His zoomed marked up pics show more evidence of possession in bounds than JJ touching the ball lol.
