There was a missed pass interference call in the 2004 Alabama vs LSU game that is to this day the worst missed call I’ve ever seen. Bad enough that the SEC admitted they missed the call.

That was bad, but Saints/Rams was way worse.

Ok, that AU/Vandy call is the winner.

As usual, the still picture is a lie. That was taken after Julio had touched the ball.

Meh, it doesn't matter. LSU wasn't going to move the ball anyway.

The answer is clearly the Auburn/vandy game where vandy got a touchdown that the ball just bounced off the receiver’s chest. Like there was not even a moment it was caught, he didn’t even get up with the ball because it was 5 yards away.

Most blatant one is probably the official looking behind him to see where the 1st down marker was

The referee he’s looking at is spotting the ball, looking down the line, and calling it a first down.

The referee in the GIF is trying to align himself with that mark and place his foot in the correct location for the chain crew to move the markers behind him.

In this case, the ball is irrelevant, and was a fresh one handed to him by a ballboy. That one doesn’t even go there, it goes on the hash.

Then there was this game against Alabama - replay booth that overturned it? Yup, Bama grad.

That's how the game felt for sure. I just think it's one of those interesting plays that could have gone either way. I don't even know if that is why the ref called it the way he did, but in the end because of that tiny detail, it's the correct call.

Everyone else is focusing on the feet, but that ends up not being the issue.

Isn’t that gif just a joke? If anyone honestly thinks that the ref is spotting the ball there, they must pay no attention when watching games.

Worst i remember was the Clowney play vs Michigan where the play before the corrupt officials horrible spot gave michigan a first down and clowney proceeds to prison rape the ball carroer on the next play and get the ball back for sc.

I don’t know, but I trust your opinion on officiating over mine, sir.

Ref looking straight at both of them hit each other and calls a PF on FL. This PF allowed Tennessee to get close enough for a field goal and win the game.

Tennessee has beaten us once since then. Karma.

That video was terribly done. Why doesn't it show why the guy went out of bounds?

Yea, this is actually the first time I've heard of Julio touching it first. I haven't actually seen the play in years, but I didn't notice that at the time.

Bama got burned on missed illegal man downfield penalties.

This never gets called though. I wish it did, but in the modern game, complaining about illegal man downfield is like complaining about holding.

You know your team is getting away with their fair share too.
