We need some clarity on this from A&M fans.

How many years are they going to put up with losing to Nick? I mean will they let it get to the point where Nick is 80+ years old and coaching from a rocking chair on the sideline and still beating Jimbo?

Jimbo has 80 years or he’ll be in trouble. That’s the kind of timeframe pretenders operate with.

Nobody's firing a 11-1 coach simply for not being able to beat Saban. It just all depends on what he does with the rest of the schedule.

3rd or 4th place in the West is the gold standard for atm.

If Saban sits in a rocking chair will he get taller?

I’d say within 3 years (including this year) is a very strong probability, but then again I don’t think you started this thread seeking honest responses.

The last coach whose top goal was to only beat Nick Saban is at UCF now. We want to win them all. Doesn't matter who.

The A&M crowd expects Jimbo to beat Nick this season. Nothing short of a SEC title for the Aggies.

Ask Ross Bjork, John Sharp, or Tony Buzzbee, if you want an official answer.

For me, I don't expect Jimbo to beat Saban because Alabama has way too much good coaching and talent to overcome while Saban is at the helm, but if Jimbo does does pull off an upset, I will be very happy. I certainly think it's possible. I just don't expect it.

I, like LSU fans, and pretty much everyone else for that matter, am waiting for Nick to retire, and being prepared for it when it happens.

It's doubtful anyone here can answer your question.

Tbh, this is the first year Aggies are expecting Jimbo to challenge Nick, much less beat him. And even those expectations are tempered, depending on question marks with the QB/O-line.

Former Nick Saban assistants are not allowed to defeat him.

Count on it never happening. Yaw yaw is the only current SEC coach with what is sadly considered a good record vs. Saban. Yes, 1-4 is good when it comes to facing Saban.

It won’t matter. Once LSU fires O, Jimbo is in his way to BR

Nah, the general thought is that A&M fans can’t talk about expectations until we win the SEC.

Yes, next Wednesday after Tuesday at 1 pm before Labor Day after Nicks birthday! Too complicated? I typed really slow for you!
