I don't think OU will care. Texas will likely want a say when and where the rivalry game fits in the season.
To the guy above saying Texas at A&M. No chance of that happening.
First of all, A&M and Missouri got home games for their first game. I would expect Texas and OU will to. I would guess it would be a game in Austin against Bama, A&M, LSU, Auburn, Florida or Georgia. It will be one of the name schools.
(Note, sorry Tennessee, I have a ton of respect for your program historically, but you guys really need to get your act back together)

We heard about this and left work (couple miles down the road) the Thursday before the game to go check it out. The basketball arena's parking lot is huge and it was almost half-full of RVs. Walked around chatting, all were super cool and looking forward to the game. Bama fans travel.. in style

I want OU or UT’s first game to be at LSU, At Florida, At UGA or at Alabama. A real welcome to the SEC. people fail to realize the SEC pride thing is more than just football records. It’s the fan bases and pageantry. Second to none in the country. 13 out of 14 schools have very good fan bases each with cool traditions.
