t's nothing personal. As a fan, I don't want to see star players quit on their teams for an entire year to get ready for the NFL Draft. It's a terrible precedent, a selfish attitude, and is part of what is killing the sport of college football.

Think the Chase stuff is originally from the Bengals beat reporter from The Athletic. I'm sure he'll be fine, sounds like normal training camp stuff.

There are plenty of actual articles about Waddle having a good camp. I’ve been following Dolphins camp every day through Twitter. Travis Wingfield does a podcast and has been at all their public practices. Says Tua has come a long way and Waddle’s burst is otherworldly.

Well that's, like, your opinion man.
I care about the longevity and integrity of the sport of college football. When athletes like Ja'Marr Chase get rewarded for skipping an entire season by going high in the draft, I feel it sets a bad precedent for the sport of college football. The only way to deter that is for athletes who choose to pull such a stunt to fail at the next level.
It sucks but there it is.

This. This is why I fricking hate majority of your trailer park fanbase.
Why would you hope for a young man to fail? God what a piece of shite
LSU fans are obviously known for classy behavior, right? That’s funny.

Never wish to see a young man fail at the next level no matter where they played college ball. That's just a shitty thing to say.

I think Chase is gonna be a good NFL player, but there has to be some correlation between sitting out a whole season and a slow start to Fall camp.

I'm hoping his career fails as a result.

I also think the Burrow recovery has contributed to Chase's slow start. It just goes to show how a major injury to a qb can affect them. Makes Tua's year last year remarkable considering his injury. It may take Burrow a full year to recover. Just hope his line is better, don't want to see him getting killed out there again.

Chase opted out because he got sick from covid last year and didn't want to risk it at the time when everyone was throwing the myocarditis card out at the time last year.

I doubt Chase failing is going to change the trend of sitting out unfortunately. I'm admittedly a big Chase fan. Don't like the sitting out trend but I think with all the changes to CFB over the course of the last 18 months, sitting out won't be so uncommon.

Regardless of why he opted out, he opted out. No one is criticizing him we're just saying its probably what has contributed to a slow start

The word on Chase right now is lack of separation out of cuts. Seems like next level DBs are just smothering him.
He will figure it out
He will figure it out

Yeah you got to wonder how fully recovered Burrow is, hope he can stay healthy. They're going to be fun to watch if he can get back to his old self

Bengals are a bad organization. Both of them will have a hard time winning anything of importance

Imagine caring about a football player (that has nothing to do with "your" team) and wanting them to fail.
That's a sad life my man.

That wasn’t even impressive though. Our backs get beat like that all the time. He had lock down coverage just didn’t turn his head fast enough.
