Yet another example of doing more with less.

If A&M's Endowment only grows by $155 mill year over year someone is getting fired. That's just a crazy small endowment for a school that size. Fine for a small school but for 60k plus students? Damn.

only stat worth comparing.
I think the freshman profile is also worth comparing, where, once again, UCF blows MSU out of the water with much higher avg gpa, sat, and act.
I don’t have anything against MSU and have no love for UCF…. just rabble rousing.

UCF's focus is not on research, it is a undergrad degree mill.
UCF has higher research expenditures than Ole Miss and is nearly on par with Mississippi State. LOL

Not really when you consider that state has to abide by state laws and allow certain folks in.

It's also a commuter school, although they're trying to change that by buying up every single piece of property in downtown Atlanta that they can get their hands on to convert into dorms and other facilities to serve resident students. I'm pretty sure the merger with Georgia Perimeter also added like 15,000 to the student body overnight.

The Kamehameha School (Bishop Estate) trust in Hawaii has an endowment approaching $11B. Only seven colleges reportedly have larger endowments - Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Univ of Texas system, Univ of Pennsylvania system, and MIT.

It’s going to take a while for an alumni base of cubicle-dwelling prairie dogs to cash in enough lottery tickets to build up an endowment.
