If Colt hadn't got hurt, would be the GOAT

Earl Campbell would be right behind Herschel and Bo.

Herschel Walker
Bo Jackson
Earl Campbell
Billy Sims

Adrian Peterson is above McFadden. Third behind Bo and Walker

Johnny - not a top five QB in SEC history.

Well Kyler Murray ran away from the competition of the SEC for the land of soft zone defenses and no pass rush. Baker never knew any different as he went from Tech to OU.

VY was legit and had a lot in common with Cam but Cam was a Rhodes Scholar by comparison. Was closer to JaMarcus Russell though than Cam.

Ricky was also legit.

Honestly though Earl Campbell was the best they produced and a class act. Sad he can barely stand now since his knees were butchered before they knew what they hell they were doing surgery wise back then. Love his Hot Links too.

OU has a lot of Heisman winners but none really are folks people think of as All Timers and Legends. Murray, Mayfield, Sam Bradford, Jason White, Billy Sims, Steve Owens, and Billy Vessels.

AD obviously had the better pro career. But McFadden had more yards and TDs in college...Peterson was hurt quite a bit at OU it seemed like. McFadden could just score in so many ways whether it was returning kicks, passing, etc. Both are in the top 3-5 RBs I've ever seen in college.

and still won national championship mvp, went 3-0 against the aggies (while never winning by less than 11), and won nfl rookie of the year. Oops.

No Spurrier? Archie? Namath? Only modern era? And then you miss both Burreaux and Mac Jones. Great list for dual threat guys though, minus Payton.

I'd take Burrow over all of them.

We had tons of great talent in the 70's & 80's but recognized globally as all-time greats? I don't know.

Lee Roy Selmon is widely regarded as the greatest Sooner of all time, first ever Bucs draft pick.

Adrian Peterson was mentioned but I rank him the 3rd or 4th best RB ever at OU.

Joe Washington (very successful NFL career)
Keith Jackson (very successful NFL career)
Billy Sims (NFL career cut short due to injuries)

Bosworth is an all-time great college LB. (yes, especially you Auburn fans, I know..)
