Let's see what they do. They aren't going to win the battle but at least show some dignity in your voting.

It's easy trolling saying they are afraid to play Texas. Restarting the series isn’t really the concern; overall this just isn't a good deal for them.

their time to get skins on the wall was for the last ten years.

That’s a short window but they didn’t quite get there.

I can see why there is anger.

That is trolling. Anyone with minimum common sense can see why this isn't good for A&M; not to mention how all this went down.

For all I know A&M would have played them OC so you won't here anything from me about them being scared.

As a fan I look forward to playing Horns and Sooners regularly. I also know being in the SEC has taken away recruiting advantages Texas had previously. I absolutely understand why A&M wants to protect that. You don’t give up clear advantages willingly.

With that said A&M has leveled the funding side of football and Texas will never have any appreciable advantage in terms of revenue, salaries, facilities, etc…. Texas historically has done a lot less with a lot more.

I am good with them coming in to the SEC and said it as soon as it leaked out. Ags will be just fine.

Gigem and frick Texass.

Maybe they do or maybe they don't. It's irrelevant at this point. What is far more interesting is what pound of flesh A&M gets out of this politically within the State. Texas really, really does not want A&M to go hostile inside of Texas politics on them and join with the leftover schools and it isn't in A&M's interest to really do so either. It comes at a price though. Also, what considerations they may get out of the SEC in terms of scheduling or other benefits. It's doubtful any of that will ever be public btw, or at least overtly public.

The reality though is unfortunately I think all of this is window dressing. These moves are a way station on the journey to Super Conferences and more change is on the way and it is going to be a lot more dramatic than most folks here realize for good and for bad. This isn't over.

Texas A&M: “There is nothing beneficial about bringing UTex into the conference, and we are disappointed in this move by the SEC.”

tSECr: “Scared! Pathetic! Cucks! Drama queens! Handle this like Mizzou is! Delusional! Such a shitty look!”

Texas A&M: “We are a proud member of the best athletic conference and look forward to continued success in our SEC partnership for many years to come.”

tSECr: “Have the guts to vote NO.”

So what difference does 14-0 vs 13-1 make? It doesn’t stop anything.

Sounds like the perfect football season. Start the backup qb. Win the natty. Fire the coach because all of those things should happen.

That's really where all this is going and the main reason everybody, including A&M will vote "yes" on the t.u. and OU entry.

It will be 16 teams in 4 conferences, regardless.

My inside sources tell me that A&M administrators are keeping tabs on the SEC Rant poll and they will be used as their justification in their decision.

They may be given that right by the SEC office.

Politics is a big game as well. If you were in the A&M administration wouldn't you vote NO for appearance. I would think the percentage of No votes by Grads/Fans in much higher on NO.

I expect a yes from us and I expect some sort of compensation for it like with scheduling or the SEC fricking Arky into that Big 12 pod like projected (I completely sign off on the whole deal if that happens).

I never sang that tune. Trolling is always part of this board but most with some common sense can see A&M has a legit gripe here. Not just because how it affects them but how this seems to have gone down.
