Excellent. I like him more than Moss, but hopefully LSU ends up with both.

Both Lake Charles College Prep and Istrouma are public. LCCP may be a magnet? I'm not sure.
LCCP, where Citizen goes, is 3A.
Istrouma, where Moss goes, is 4A.
However, I don't think the competition they faced this past year was all that different. Neither played great (comparatively speaking to some other districts/areas in LA) competition.

This kid is a man amongst boys. He has great bloodlines as well.

West Monroe is 5A
Evangel is 2A
John Curtis is 1A
Those are the traditional powers in La
They’re different backs to me.
Moss is really well rounded. Doesn’t nothing incredible but does everything very well. Think Damien Harris.
Citizen is a bit of a throw back. Downhill back. Tree trunk legs that can move a pile. Not a super agile guy but if he gets a head of steam he’s getting positive yards.
That’s my very non-expert take after watching their film
This won’t be a popular take but Travis Etiennes brother may be my favorite between all 3 honestly. I would expect to see A&M put a full court press on him

Would LSU take both Citizen and Moss? Ole Miss is pushing Moss really hard too so I took this as good news for us. He's supposed to be at our big camp next week.

They have been pushing Moss to flip, no doubt about it we are trying to get him.
Kendrick Law is an interesting one to watch too because he could play a number of positions in college from RB to WR, to DB.

Curtis is 2A but they play in the 5A private division. If you're (people not from LA) not familiar with Curtis, they only have about 75-100 kids per grade, and they recruit inner city new orleans and Kenner from the time the kids are in 3rd grade (when they start their tackle football program).
I grew up in Jefferson Parish and was decent at baseball and me and a few of my friends went to the curtis baseball camp when we were 10. I kid you not, they had their recruiting guy, Coach Corey, out there and he pulled me and a few of my friends aside and showed us 10 state championship rings and made a recruiting pitch to us that if we went to Curtis we would win rings like this... we were TEN

Helped Lake Charles Prep to a 10-1 overall record as a junior. Played both sides of the ball at RB and LB, adding 66 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breakups.
Kind of reminds me of Spencer Ware, fast enough to get by the front, run through DBs.

Citizen doesn’t effect Moss’s recruitment at all.
Kendrick Law is a recruit that could effect moss.
Kid is an athlete that most “recruiting guys” think is going to be a DB but rumor is he wants to be a RB and LSU is telling him yes.
Honestly there’s 4 SEC level backs in our state this year along with the best safety in the country and a 5* OL and QB. It’s a good year for La
