Should be in a tier of their own

Mizzou should also be knocked down a tier. Title was in 54, haven't made the CWS since 64, haven't even made it to the NCAAT since joining the SEC

I think State is the 2nd most historical baseball program in the SEC, even above South Carolina and Vandy who each have two titles. State has the history and the fan base to make them the second most historical.

Feel like this should be tier 4

I didn't realize the stats until this season.

Kentucky is dead last in the SEC all time by quite a fricking large margin. It's GD embarrassing and unnacceptable.

Elite > 240 points
LSU 6-1-18-40 = 218+80 = 298

Tier 1 > 120 points
USC 2-4-11-32 = 133+40 = 173
Vanderbilt 2-2-5-20 = 95+40 = 135

Tier 2 > 60 points
Florida 1-2-12-21 = 78+20 = 98
Miss State 1-1-12-18 = 65+30 = 95
Missouri 1-3-6-18 = 79+5 = 84
Georgia 1-1-6-10 = 51+10 = 61

Varsity > 20 points
Arkansas 0-2-10-15 = 45
Alabama 0-2-5-11 = 36
Tennessee 0-1-5-8 = 23

Junior Varsity
Ole Miss 0-0-5-5 = 10
Auburn 0-0-5-3 = 8
Texas A&M 0-0-6-2 = 8

Freshman
Kentucky 0-0-0-0 = 0

Scoring System
25 Points for each National Championship
10 Points for each Runner Up
1 Point for each appearance
1 Point for each win
+30 Points for NC 2021
+20 Points for each NC 2000-2019
+10 Points for each NC 1980-1999
+5 Points for each NC 1960-1979

TLDR: I pretty much agree with your rankings if you are going to only use 3 tiers. But there are definitely some differences between the teams you listed in Tier 2 and Tier 3. Nice work.

Ole Miss resume is very depressing. I’m so glad LSU dodged the bullet with Bianco

If you do this by SEC championships, then Alabama is top 4 or so. Aside from LSU, Alabama has more combined regular season and SEC tournament titles than any other school. Alabama also has more total wins than any other SEC program.

I think we should be above Vandy due to the historical factor. They are a newcomer and have done well the past decade but State has a lot more appearances and conference championships, fan support, etc.

1. LSU
2a USC
2b MSU
