You have a 1 run lead and Kopps has 4 days rest. He could get you 5-6 innings and you just willingly let NC state tee off on you in a potential clinching game.

You serious?? If you burn Kopps today then you can’t use him tomorrow when it counts
Also, if you rely that much on one guy (which we do), then you aren’t going to win it all anyways (which we won’t)

Kopps has thrown 160 pitches in the last 6 days. If y’all can win without him it’s worth trying.

Think they would rather over use him in a game 3 if they have to. Now if Arky comes back and takes a lead late then yes you use him today.

The bullpen is dogshit outside of Kopps. He's all they got. It also doesn't help that you pull your starter after only giving up 1 run.

Using up pitches in a 5-2 deficit is a waste of arms. Arkansas needs to tie or get the lead then bring in Kopps.

The kid threw about 400 pitches last weekend. “4 days rest” does not magically fix that. Arkansas has a 1-0 lead in the series. They aren’t about to trot Kopps out in the fourth inning in that situation. He may close this game late, but Arkansas has no plan to use him in long relief today.

We’ve got plenty of them- some just naturally seem like they have ptsd and some I question their true fan hood.

I think DVH with a lot experience coaching baseball understands the day after putting up a lot of points in a game like yesterday, most offenses fall flat the next day. So he is thinking in terms of Sunday.
