His resume is very similar to RC’s who A&M obviously just got rid of. If you’re confident you can upgrade or at least find a strong unknown to try, yes.

I’m hesitant on whether or not we can find anyone that is sure fire “better” than him, but at the same time he’s got all the resources and he could want or need and has only been to Omaha once. Losing to southern would be the final straw for a lot of people.

There’s no way. I get where OM fans are coming from but at the end of the day he hosted a regional and finished with ~45 wins in a year where the talent in the SEC was probably the best it’s ever been due to Covid and despite losing his Friday night ace and Elko.

That’s a good a point. No way you fire anyone that hosts. But as more and more time passes how long can you settle for just good?

It’s going to take the same thing that happened to Childress this year I think for them to can Bianco—a <35 win year in which they either barely make the tournament or not at all.

That just doesn't cut it for any program that's serious about competing in the SEC. LSU was probably looking to get rid of Mainieri and he did better than that in the last 10 years pretty much.

If Arkansas loses tomorrow, they should fire Van Horn and swoop up Vitello for the next 20+ years.

I don't know why every program in the SEC with a top end program doesn't drop everything and go all out to get Vitello.

The LSU job search is NOT down to Sully or Bianco. That is a dumb rumor started by Matt Moscona who is CLUELESS about our coaching search.
