Fraternities and sororities are the weirdest thing to me. A buddy of mine wanted me to “pledge”, “rush” or whatever it is they do and I asked why?
He couldn’t answer.

Yep, that's totally out of hand. Unfortunately this kinda stuff seems to happen every year. The "lord of the flys" and "mob mentality" can take over. My old fraternity days were lots of fun, still hang out with lots of those guys. I would never list my fraternity on a resume. That's just weird.

I believe hazing itself is also a federal crime, so there’s more he can be charged with.

I didn’t have to read the article to know it was the Pikes. It’s not necessarily all Fraternities in general as it is the five or six organizations nationally that continue to have these stupid issues. Seems like Pike is consistently in headlines for stupid shite.
