Strange, didn't ask me about an ad blocker. Basically just someone from their media that's figured out what we now know.

He's laying out all the reasons they should wildly overpay Muss if that's what it takes.

We better get used to this every year.

It's nice to have a coach that everyone wants. The coaching staff, as a whole, is a 180 turnabout from the previous regime.

UCLA and USC did us a huge favor by making deep runs this year. I'm not worried about any other schools and he needs to do more to get bites from the NBA.

Somebody might want to tell him Lute Olson ain’t walking through that door and Arkansas is just a good it not better job.

Plus who wants jump in that cesspool with the FBI sniffing around.

But that article did make me think about this gem of a game. I think I was more worried during this game than I was the Duke game.

Well they can just sucks a big one. Maybe I'm delusional, but not a damn chance Arizona is a better job to begin with. Add to that FBI crawling around, NCAA on your neck, and better talent in Arkansas, and much more in the region, don't think that adds up well for them. Besides, who in their right mind wants to live in a damn oven 9 months of the year. SMH

Historically both programs are almost mirror images of each other. Both have one natty, but we have six final 4's to their four. With the FBI crawling around that job they'll have a hard time finding a great coach.

you might be surprised... I agree the probe makes it more difficult for them, but there is some big time $$$$ and fans for college basketball there.

$$$ Talks...

But, Muss isn't going anywhere!

I agree both jobs are at a similar overall level historically, but Arizona sure isn't better. But the other stuff definitely still applies, so that at the current time, Arkansas is definitely the better job.

As money, some of our money people were basketball crazy in Nolan's time, I would expect they are likely back onboard now.

It's Jon Wilmer? That dude doesn't even like sports. He's the guy that is always a contrarian w/ the edgy poll votes.

Arkansas just has more momentum going for them. In a way the stars aligned and we made the right hire.

Arizona is like Indiana and both are on a raft in the middle of the ocean.

I believed and still believe that the only job he will leave for is the NBA.

He said on a podcast, everyone he had been linked to during the tournament his wife would call him and say I like where we live, I like the fans, and I don’t want to live there. Is that just coach speak? Who knows.

IMHO, yes that is coach speak. Just the same, I'm not particularly concerned about Arizona or anyone else that is open at this time. But you never say never when it comes to sports and coaches. Personally don't like crow, so certainly hope I'm right on this.

A coach is 100% percent committed to a program...

Until they aren't.

I think Muss is here for a couple more years myself, but stranger things have happened.

She has family in Arkansas, I think they like it here, and I think he knows the potential here. It will have to be a dream job or another shot at the NBA to get him out of Arkansas.

Same.

I'm less worried about Muss jumping to a different college job (famous last words). If he leaves for a different gig, it feels like it'd be for an NBA job. To your point, he'd have to do a bit more here to generate that interest.

I mean don't get me wrong I wouldn't blame muss if he wanted to come back to San Diego. He's loved out here big time, used to host pick up basketball games and such. Hell we had a sports bar here rooting for us against baylor because they loved him so much.
