Cam Thomas or Moses Moody

Moody played awful in both the SEC and NCAA tournaments. Cam Thomas looks a lot more poised and NBA ready. If I was a GM I'm taking Thomas over Moody any day.

I wonder if Moody was trying to protect himself for the draft. He was a completely different player during the season.

Moody just played scared.
We desperately needed a go to guy to make it all the way and we didn’t have it. Still a hell of a run.

Eh, he has been fairly passive throughout the year. If he starts hitting his shots early, he normally gets a little more aggressive but he has never really been a guy that demands the ball.
To me it just seems like he could never get hot and was way too unconfident in himself when things were not falling for him.

Imho, Thomas is a more NBA-type player. A scorer with no conscience. That is not a criticism of Moody in any way.

Could you imagine the swagger on this team if Mase had stayed? Holy crap.

I think Moody had one foul last nite. That tells you how soft he played.

2 and a block. Also had 5 boards.
Y’all are ridiculous.

Moody is the better prospect, but Cam is the better player.
Hopefully Tate and Notae rubbed off on Moody. Those guys are dogs

I can't argue. I don't see Moody as NBA ready. Except for his court vision/awareness which is exceptional. I think his game could use another year.

Cam and it’s not particularly close.

Been saying it all season, Cam is the most NBA ready player in the SEC, period.
Moody otoh is frankly overrated. I read earlier someone stating how great his shooting mechanics are etc.. .
Uh, no. Go watch and you'll see he shoots a dead ball, no back spin. That is the opposite of great mechanics.
I guarantee you I can beat him in a straight shooting contest. But in fairness I've been practicing since '73.

Moody won't get any better staying another year. His issue isn't talent but confidence shown in the NCAA tournament.
He is a good athlete but not elite level. He should be drafted in the first round. But I don't expect him to be a starter in the NBA and might have to go overseas.

I don't necessarily disagree but it's amazing the difference 2 weeks makes, even LSU fans were mostly feeling the opposite way for a while and Arkansas fans wanted Moody to get SEC POTY
