Pringle in the portal. Wish him the best. That Clemson game absolved all the bad he did throughout the season.

It’d be awesome for us to find a center than can protect the rim, catch a bounce pass, and not be suspended every few weeks. A guy can dream

When are we gonna start getting these "big time" portal guys with all this money that oats apparently has at his disposal?

I hope they do, I really do. Oats is a beast so even if we don't get any big splash guys we'll get who we need

@GoodmanHoops
I would expect some big names to hit the portal soon.
Some guys are waiting for their final NIL checks before they hit the portal.
Rush too much, and you miss someone better. But our main target is Cliff Owhateverthehell from Rutgers.
So far we've gotten great players. You may not have heard of them. But Youngblood was an all conference player from a good mid major conference. And while I'm not as familiar with Mallette, Oats snatched him up immediately. Like absurdly fast without hesitation. So that tells me a lot.
Indiana supposedly paid $1.2 million for Ballo. We've got money. But we've also got to spread it out over 13 players. And while we've got money this year, other schools also have more money this year.

Thanks that makes sense. I'm trying to keep up with it more this year. I read where oats had extra nil $ to work with so that's what initially sparked my question anyway. Either way, I'm gonna root for them. He knows what he's doing. Thanks again

I mean no one at Bama knew who Nelson or Estrada were before they got here.
Stressing over a Nate Oats era roster as it churns is a recipe for high blood pressure and he has earned the right to let him figure things out.

Also Quinerly left in like June. There is a lot of transfer action left around the country

Nelson didn't commit until June 12th.

Gonna be a long summer. Let's hope it's not a cruel, cruel summer....

A perfect example on why patience is important. There's a lot of his who declared for the draft and entered the portal. Jeremy Roach did exactly that yesterday.

Smh.. ungrateful.
We just got to the final four for the first time in our history and it hasn't even been a month yet and condescension about Oats abilities

There was a line of thinking emerging not long ago that in-state Texas would be a player for former Indiana commit Liam McNeeley, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. There simply doesn’t seem to be much contact between the five-star forward and the Longhorns at this juncture, and a union between the two sides seems even less likely in the wake of UT’s big week in the transfer portal.
McNeeley, who will visit UConn next week, has also been linked to the new regime at Michigan as well as Kentucky, and Kansas, though it’s been difficult to verify the real interest level between the Jayhawks and the McDonald’s All-American as of late.
A new contender has emerged in recent days, however, as McNeeley has been linked to Alabama by people in the know. If a visit takes place in the near future, Nate Oats and company could become a real threat to snag the Texas-born star. He’s no lock to land with the Tide obviously, but mutual interest is emerging

maybe not even Sears knows what he’s gonna do
I hope his mom has a big say in what happens. My feeling is she's full gump and would love another year. G-league? Europe? Minimum NBA minutes? None of that compares to what she gets in Tuscaloosa.
One more year momma Sears.

Yeah it wouldn’t be the same dribbling a bedazzled Shanghai Sharks purse in the stands. Doubt they’d even show her in the crowd unless she was sitting by Xi Jinping.
