Sure it is. Especially after his earlier frick up that got them to restructure his contract. Actually firing someone with a contract gives them grounds for a lawsuit though regardless of the circumstances. WVU would win, but it would cost them a lot of money and force them to go through discovery, so they would be inclined to settle with him.

I don't know the specifics of the restructured contract though. I know he got a pay cut, but it may have removed a buyout, in which case he could just still be drunk and acting crazy.

That has to be one of the most random assortments of teams I've ever seen.

That's the main reason I posted it.

I can't recall ever seeing Hawaii in one of these edits.

Just finished watching Aaron Estrada from @HofstraMBB who went in the Portal to @AlabamaMBB Go ahead and put @Aaron4PF_ on the @SEC All-Defensive Team right now! Very tough on the ball, extremely quick hands , talks and doesn’t give in. Just needs adjusting to being screened.

Apparently Preston Murphy coached AJ Dybantsa's AAU team. For those that don't know, he's the #1 player in 2026, and also considered the best HS player in America by many

And Dybantsa is already 16, so no doubt he will reclassify to 2025- those hoops prep schools can accelerate that curriculum much faster than your local high school. Dybantsa will be at Prolific Prep next year along with main Bama targets Aiden Sherrell and Tyran Stokes.

I don't guess the season tix being more expensive should be a shocker.

Mildly surprised that Tide Pride only went up $100 per seat….

We have the chance to win 3 of 4 SEC regular season titles outright this year. The only team not Kentucky to do that is Florida ('11, '13, '14).

Alabama shared 2 and won 3 in a row in the 70's, MSU did the same in the early 60's and Tenn shared 3 in a row in the early 40's.

If someone was handicapping the most successful CBB coach for the 2020-2030 decade, our coach is easily Top 2 in SEC (probably #1 but Arky money and NCAA Tourney success so far would have Muss a close 2nd in odds) and probably top 10 overall (possibly top 5 depending how you weight various conference achievements vs NCAA Tourney success).

The quote Chad posted almost gives one goosebumps. As if 2 double conference championships in 3 yrs isn’t enough, that quote shows this guy is the real deal! Perfectionism…bad for relationships…great for coaches!!

EDIT: That doesn’t mean I’m expecting this year to be a championship winning team, although I think it could. Baseline expectations are probably Top 25 and 4-5 seed. 3 seed or better is a win, and 6-8 seed would be mildly disappointing. 9+ seed (barring major injuries) would be materially under expectations IMO.
