By my count Georgia has 32.

I do not like, nor agree with your stance that regular season wins literally don’t count. I find it rather odd, actually, since regular season wins are what put teams in position to be successful in the post season.

Musselman has never won fewer than 20 games/season as a college coach and he doesn't own a motorcycle.

I'm SHOCKED that a Bama fan thinks regular season titles are better. They haven't won a tournament title since 1991
What a pathetic program

That's freaking amazing considering they got 25 points for a final four

We truly are a pathetic basketball program. With all the talent in the Atlanta area the fact that we can't lock down enough talent to be a consistent tourney team is sad

When you compare where these two programs sit over the course of conference history, Florida getting that close is just a testament to how insane their run was in the 2000s.

So a team could make the Sweet 16 for 8 out of 20 seasons, literally win 0 games in the other 12, and would be the #5 SEC program since 2000?
Is that a problem with your system, or a testament to how weak the conference was for a stretch?

42 of our points are because of Bruce. That man is a wizard

List looks good.
LSU has had some good to great teams since 2000, but they've had some incredibly bad teams, too.
More often than not, they are just painfully average.

Does this include Alabama's 2020-21 conference title?

Translation we are gonna get one of these right so we can make ourselves not look like a team that has only finished in the top 8 teams ONCE in the history of our program.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but South Carolina should get some credit here for their two NIT Championships in 2005 and 06. With the number of automatic bids awarded to small conferences by no means does this mean they were #65 or #69 depending on counting the 'play in ' games.
Playing in the NIT is no different than playing in the Belk Bowl,Birmingham Bowl, Liberty Bowl, etc in football. Are you seriously going to say (in a "non-Covid" season any SEC football team at 6-6 or 7-5 or even 8-4 is going to turn down ANY bowl game?

These threads on ranking programs all-time or "since xxxx" have opened my eyes to just how much Alabama basketball is like looking into a mirror for Mizzou bb fans.
Sad thing about that is, Bama fans can shrug it off because of football king status. For Mizzou fans to look into a mirror and see Alabama in football, we'd have to cut off your face and staple it over ours.
