shite I love it. Too many Saban robots come out of Alabama. Nice to have a bit of a diva go to the NFL for once.

Wasn't me scooter. You'd lose that bet. His cussing all during the interview and making fun of the fans and their southern accents was great. Dumb arse.....

Just admit that the interview hit too close to home for you and now you’re embarrassed that a recent college grad has a better sense of perspective on the whole thing you do. We’ll call it a day after that.

I thought you didnt like cussing

I listened to the show live last week and thought it was funny. Not all of these kids are from Alabama or grow up Tide fans. He’s from CALIFORNIA, so have some perspective... he spoke very highly of his teammates, the staff, the program, and the University as a whole. He joked about the football culture in the South, overbearing fans, and accents; So, pretty much the same things anyone taking a shot at the region is going to say. He didn’t cross any lines or take any personal angles.
Najee represented himself and the team very well this season and throughout his career. If he wants to joke about a southern drawl the same way we would joke about a pot growing, tree hugging Californian, then who gives a shite? He came across the country from a pretty terrible situation and won 2 NC’s, graduated, and made a name for himself in the process. I’m a fan and hope he has all the success in the world at the next level.
If anything was weird, it was him choosing to come on a national radio show and not wanting to answer questions.

I really enjoyed the interview as he has a great sense of humor and yes he spoke very highly of his teammates, the staff, the program, and the University as a whole.
The host and he had a great time and the part about the feds and then Pittsburgh exchange was very funny !.When asked what teams is calling you the most he said
"my agent "..lol

I can't do that because that wouldn't be true. Admit you're an idiot and that would be true and that will be the end of it.

That and not knowing who the hell Pat McAfee is before going on the show. His agent or publicist clearly put him on that.

Seriously. I’m not sure who his agent is, but it seems like pretty basic practice to do a little research before you send a client into that situation. He asked who he played for and what position he played, which is more embarrassing than anything he said about Alabama. I know it was a routine interview, but I hope his people prepare him a little better for his pro day and combine interviews. He’s personable and seems like a smart enough guy to do well in those situations with a little bit of basic knowledge about what the hell is going on.

Najee shite the bed with this interview. Great player but I've never seen one as unappreciative as him about his time and what being a football player at Bama means to so many people.

Harris talking about the fans getting on him reminds me of something from my walk-on days at Alabama. We were playing Virginia Tech in the Music City Bowl in 1998. I was a receiver and we were lined up in the corner of end zone warming up. It must have been a VT section in that corner because several fans were yelling at us. They were close enough to read our name plates and call us out individually and one of them yelled at me, "We're going frick you up, __________." I said to myself, "No, you're not... because when this game actually starts I'm going to be standing right over there on the sideline."
We did get the hell beat out of us by a good VT team (played FSU for the national title the next year) but Globetrotter was unscathed - except I did freeze my arse off. Damn, it was cold that night (all week actually).

Then you sure as hell haven't been around very long, because it takes a special kind of stupid to think that Najee Harris is more unappreciative of his time at Bama than, say, DJ Hall. Or Jimmy Johns, who literally sold cocaine in the parking lot of the athletic complex. You literally have to be dumber than dirt if you believe that.

Never seen one more unappreciative than Najee? You're a fricking idiot, and you're in a hole, so put the fricking shovel down.

Not very many people are going to respond to some a-hole screaming at them about how much they suck with "wow, I really appreciate this." frick those people. They deserve to be made fun of because they're dumb, trashy rednecks.
