Discussion of trolling quality (Ole Miss fans do not enter)

Now the adults are in the room, let's discuss something. Ole Miss fans seem to have a new 'tradition' of spamming an image after a win in baseball.


Exhibit A

You are certainly forgiven for not being aware of this. They haven't exactly been winning at the clip us proud elite SEC ballclubs expect in February (i.e. undefeated). But it has come to my attention nonetheless

I will admit to a slight chortle when I first saw it, but I'm worried they are biting off more than their team can chew. They just got bullied around their home diamond by UCF...I just don't think this is the year for them to start an "in your face" tradition.

I'm also worried Arkansas is at least partially to blame. Schools with meager resources like OM only have the ability to put together truly competitive teams once in a blue moon. For them, that year was 2019, but it ended in a 14-1 rout at the Fayetteville Super Regional at Baum Stadium.

As a fan of program that has been making regular appearances in Omaha for decades, I understand when the pain of a promising season is followed by a year where you just don't have the horses. This is Ole Miss this year. Their fans are still riding high on their "peak" output of a Super Regional in 2019 but the team has moved on and this soft Rebel ballclub seems incapable of delivering on the fans' trolling.

Now I have a feeling this may sort itself out - they're already 5-2 so I have a feeling wins may become few and far between as it is. But I feel this level of trolling is so far below that of elite SEC leadership for which we are so proud, that something must be done. In short, this is Texas Longhorn-level classlessness with Missouri- level results
