I give him credit for sticking with Alabama for as long as he did. Hate that things never seemed to work out. Best of luck to him.

I hope all of the best for him. With the shear numbers of players entering the portal, there's going to be a lot of kids that don't get picked up. Hopefully he'll find a home where he'll get some playing time.

Guy made a bad arse tackle in the championship game and got his ring. Wish him nothing but success.

That recovery of the onside kick near the end of the Ole Miss game was golden at the time.

Best of Luck.

I had a tremendous amount of admiration for him. I think he is just as much of a role model as anyone on the team. It would have been so easy to quit or transfer but he did not. He just grinder away. I was happy to see his tackle in the NC game.

First thought - good luck to him. He did everything asked of him at Alabama. Hope he finds a place he can shine for his last season.

Second thought - come on down Henry. We got that spot open for you now.

Tide LB Ben Davis enters transfer portal (BOL)

Best wishes & God's blessings for Ben!

Returning 2020 seniors and grads don't count toward the 85 limit. But a spot could open if needed for HT -- details in this post: Projected 2021 Roster/Depth (link in recruiting thread's first post). Hard to predict who else may opt to transfer. A few will be more likely if the NCAA (and SEC) approve (in Mar-Apr) the proposed 2020/21 immediate eligibility blanket waivers.

Rumor was he didn't like contact, at least early on in his career at Bama. Who knows if that is true, but that was the rumor. But I thought he looked good when he got in the game this past year. I appreciate the fact that he stuck it out at Bama like he did.

Good luck to Ben. Most people would have quit in his situation. Hopefully Bama is able to land HT and JTT.

The best of luck to the young man! He was a MAN and stuck it out. His daddy was a UA great, and he had to live in that shadow...and he hung in there!...God bless you and GOOD LUCK!
