I know this is the rant and food fighting is what you do best but why not try for at least a few logical thoughts on football and talk about the issue specifically? So why not just explain how you see it Einstein, your football IQ, and give us less personal assault in each and every rebuttal you post.

I did.

"All spread" does not equal "all pass" like you seem to assume.

Remember that time a true freshman LSU qb making his first start in college football went into the swamp and beat the Heisman favorite at the time. I member....

It's why KC lost the Super Bowl. It's why LSU couldn't beat Missouri.

KC lost the Super Bowl because both of their starting tackles were out and Mahomes was running for his life every damn play. Go look at what the Saints did to Brady when we got pressure on him in that reg season game. Same exact scenario. They win that game if they both healthy.

LSU lost b/c of atrocious defense and red zone play calling again at Mizzou.

Do you even watch the games???

Have to Love A&M fans couldn't beat LSU in 10 tries now they finally have 2 wins (with the help of some poor officiating) and now they think they are big dogs in the SEC. Can't wait to see the mediocrity you all put out this year.

Why yes, did you?

KC vs Tampa game stats:

First downs: KC 22, Tampa 26

Total plays: KC 69, Tampa 63

Total drives: KC 11, Tampa 11

Total yards: KC 350, Tampa 340

Passing: KC 243, Tampa 195

Rushing: KC 107, Tampa 145

Score: KC 9, Tampa 31

In summation: KC moved the ball better than Tampa between the 20s. Even ran the ball some. But they were held out of the endzone because they simply couldn't navigate the red zone. That last 20 yards of real estate that has many a spread team wandering in the wilderness.

By the way, Tampa had it figured out in their first meeting in the regular season that they lost 27-24. After KC got out to a sizable lead, they held KC to 7 points in the second half and shut them out in the 4th quarter. Tampa had them figured out defensively long before the rematch in the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl was merely the 5th quarter of the first game.

In conclusion: A balanced spread offense is being able to run the ball IN THE RED ZONE.

Sure, once they were down by three touchdowns. Half of their total yards came on their last three drives when the score was 31-9 and Tampa was playing a soft zone

This time last year you'd probably have said the same thing about Missouri

edit because I think your first game in 2020 was Mississippi State, which was also a loss, so same point.

I’m not an LSU fan. My opinion is that of an outside, non-biased observer. They’re not losing to UCLA. LSU should be better than last season, and even if not, I’d bet on a mid-tier SEC team to beat a no better than 3rd place PAC12 team.

Your entire team for over 10 years has been precautious and will continue to be again this year. And Jimbo and the coaching staff is washed up

Also, how is LSU not all spread already? The quote said all spread and you wrote all pass.

Lsu hasnt lined up under center for anything besides a qb sneak or a kneel down but one time in two years..they run pistol some . They havent huddled one time in two years. We ran the same saints offense as we did in 2019 under brady but we weren't as creative last year.

Peetz was hired because he was the person that brady says knows the offense the best ,plus hes young and hungry and he was gonna be the oc for brady if he got an NFL job.

In that story you linked ,o just meant we will continue to run that same spread but in peetz vision

What difference does that make, when it happens? That's how comebacks happen. KC couldn't finish the drives, period. It was the difference in the game. For KC to not score a TD in any game is big news, in a Super Bowl, what an indictment of their lack of physicality and toughness.

The problem was and is with all spread teams is the ability to stay physical at the LOS and finish drives. A lot of good defenses these days are almost all playing teams to move the ball inside the 20s and then dig in the money zone.

Tampa was keeping everything in front of them, meaning guys with incredible speed and guys that needed space were having to go the long way. Tampa wasn't chasing. SEC DCs should learn as much.
