And another thing you dumbass just because you brought it up. UCF which should never even be comparable to Auburn is sitting 3rd in their conference in recruiting and second in per player rating out of 11 teams.

Auburn is 14th in recruiting and 11th per player rating out of 14 teams.

But But but... muh... Georgia and Alabama... frick them and that excuse. I know you have that Harsin hard on now and that's great but when they call something stupid that doesn't work or when we get run off the field against the a rival what are you gonna say? Oh I know, Gus couldn't develop players. Lol. Gus had more players drafted into the NFL then any coach in Auburn history. Strange huh.

Gus’ downfall was winning a NC as an offensive coordinator and taking us to another as head coach with a dual threat QB. Then not recruiting dual threat QB’s after 2013. It will always baffle me as to why he tried to fit a round peg into a square hole when the square peg seemed to work pretty well

Corchjay i'm feel 100% the same as this. I have never seen a coach hated as much as Gus. Blamed for everything credited for nothing.

I actually don’t and I’m not sure they’re really pressing him to one side of the ball, at least to start out

They need to give Damari Alston CB access. He's calling his shots with the rest of them

He’s not hated. He did good here. He could just never get over the hump. Damn. frick him. It’s time to move on. We all hope Harsin can find an O Line. If not we are stuck in the same place.

I've moved on. Some haven't. I fully support Harsin just won't accept going backwards. I'm willing to see how it turns out but ain't looking good regardless if you want to build in hasn't played a game, covid, and other excuses.

Dear god, not everyone on here is as stupid as you are. Did you think I wouldn't be able to counter this idiocy?

UCF finished 4th in recruiting in the AAC last season with 6-4 Josh Heupel, despite #2 Memphis signing 5 more recruits, and #1 Cincinnati signing 4 more recruits.

In 2019 they finished 1st in the AAC in recruiting.

In 2018 they finished 2nd in the AAC in recruiting.

What does that mean, you idiot? It means that "one of the best recruiters in the country" with his ****ing SEC pedigree is basically doing nothing on the recruiting front at UCF that they weren't already doing without him, against absolutely laughable competition. He hasn't moved the needle one iota. UCF was already the crown jewel of that entire conference (with Cincinnati), and you're over here pumping your chest because "one of the best recruiters in the country" has arguably the best (or 2nd best) program in that entire conference sitting at #3 in the recruiting rankings . UCF has arguably the best recruiting ground in that entire conference: how the frick is a guy who's played for 2 National Championships, won one of them, won another SEC Championship, and spent 8 years at an SEC program not absolutely blowing EVERY other school away in that conference?

You keep ranting about how he was an elite recruiter and how he's "one of the best recruiters in the country"...well, where are the results so far? He's literally recruiting against coaches that don't have 1/10th the resume he has. If Nick Saban took that job, do you think he'd be sitting #3 right now behind Sonny Dykes LMAO? How about Kirby Smart? Ed Orgeron? Jimbo Fisher?

By the way, let me give you an accurate picture of the recruiting landscape in the AAC right now: USF has 3 commitments. Temple has 5 commitments. Tulsa has 4 commitments. Houston has 6 commitments. Auburn is sitting dead last in the SEC with 8 commitments.

quote:

Auburn is 14th in recruiting and 11th per player rating out of 14 teams.

Auburn is 14th because we still have less commitments than everyone else in the conference; two less than Ole Miss.

Our player average is ALSO being handicapped by Alex McPherson, who as a Kicker is weighing our entire average down despite being the #1 Kicker in the country. If you remove McPherson from the equation, our per-recruit average jumps to 88.80 (621.61 total points divided by 7 recruits). 88.80 would put us above EVERYONE except: Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Texas A&M, Florida, and Missouri. 7th in SEC and basically only behind all of the schools that NORMALLY recruit above us, except Missouri who is off to an uncharacteristically strong start.
