I never thought I would say this, but I actually feel sorry for them. How could so many people screw this up so badly for so many years? Florida has screwed up three times with hires in the last 20 years and has still won two national titles and remained relevant.

And therein lies a big difference between Alabama and Tennessee. Even Mike Shula won 10 games at Alabama, and coming off probation at that. Neither of The Three Stooges ever won 10 at Tennessee. That's an indication of the inherent foundation at Alabama that doesn't exist at Tennessee.
