With LSU in a death spiral, we can appreciate how well Miles was at roster management and hiring coaches. Can't believe LSU went from Aranda to some random DB coach.

When O took over, LSU had no quarterback or quarterback development, talent along both the offensive and defensive lines had majority decreased, and there were more fullbacks on the roster than scholarship wide receivers.

You consider that good roster management?

Three national championships with our last three head coaches.

Miles was an elite recruiter but the roster was extremely unbalanced. When Aranda got to Br we had like 2 scholarship linebackers IIRC and like 7 scholarship OLineman in O’s first year.

I know tSECr likes to spout a lot of stupid shite, but this one takes the cake for how detached from reality y’all are.

It was his weakest ability honestly. We’d have 10 NFL caliber DB’s at any time but we’d have one or two good OL, and horrible QB’s. He’d get great recruits, but he wouldn’t get them at the right spots.

Bring back less. Four yards and a cloud of dust. Can't wait.

If you don’t count the QB position , he was the best or second to best (CNS). Problem is that QB is the most important player on the field. We had Jordan Jefferson and Jaret Lee for 4 consecutive seasons bc he couldn’t find a better QB. Then , we had a walk on transfer from Harvard his last year bc the two previous recruits could not hit the broadside of a barn. But damn, he could keep it two deep at every other position including punter.

QB and LB were nearly empty when he finally got canned.

Granted, our D coordinator search was a shite show. Quick reminder, your head coaching search was worse.

If I remember correctly, he wanted JaMarr Chase to play DB.

If he was good at hiring coaches, he wouldn't have been fired for Orgeron...
