Good. That fraud doesn't deserve to wear the Power G.

Right outcome as he really has no business wearing Georgia gear at this point, though fans need to understand that they look like buffoons doing shite like this also.

Correct decision; Newman never played a down for our team.

Good, he never wore the red and black in competition.

He needs the Senior Bowl and Combine after fricking over us but it's prolly worked out better for the Dawgs with J.T. in the long run.

Only 1 season in college as a starter. Currently projected mid 3rd day pick (late 4th round-5th round) from what I've seen.

Where does he do his pro day since there is no combine?

UGA?
Wake?
Beg, borrow, and steal any pro day who will fit him in?

The man could've gone down as a legend, but instead, he went down as a quitter.

If he participates in a pro day, it will be in Athens. The fans are not in charge of the football facility and the players and coaches would welcome his participation, fwiw.

Yeah, ultimately it would help our pro day. Would draw more coaches in. It would be a net positive for the other guys.

What offensive players are welcoming his participation?

Im guessing that he throws to Tre' McKitty.
Any other receivers at the pro day? Prather Hudson?

Maybe he can give Stokes, Campbell, DJ Daniel, Webb, Rice, & Lecounte some quality skeleton work.

This is a terrible decision, IMO. It sends a really bad message to everyone associated with the program to allow guys like Newman and Fields back on campus with open arms.

I'll bet Fields wishes he had stayed at Athens. He would have rocked out with this 2020 team and probably won the SECCG and the national title.

Honestly, I'll bet he DNGAF... he's almost guaranteed a top 5 draft pick slot and he played in the National Title game...

he should opt out of the senior bowl - wouldn't want him to get injured or catch covid, etc, etc.

This is why i dont buy sitting out bowl games to avoid injury when an opportunity to practice for a week can do the same thing at the senior bowl (i understand sitting out while healing up from injuries).

They cant go through this offseason thinking they are 1 rep away from injury.

Jamie newman playing in the senior bowl after avoiding covid the past 5 months is the height of hypocrisy.

Helluva mindset for the NFL, or football in general.
