LSU beat better teams and in hostile environments. Bama did not. End of discussion. Maybe if Bama would have played a full slate in a regular season we could have this discussion, but unfortunately for them we can't.

I've said for a while now that, if the social sciences had any integrity and objectivity (as a whole), Trump Derangement Syndrome would be diagnosed as a legitimate mental condition. Many, many people lost all sense of proportion and reason when it came to him.

A close second would be Aggie Derangement Syndrome with LSU.

Just because LSU sucked doesn’t mean the league was down. Try again.

None were more accomplished than 2019 LSU.

2009 Bama is the only other team that finished the season undefeated. They were more accomplished than any of the other Saban teams until this year’s team came along.

I say when they had Blake sims starting he took them as far as he could. He was a corner that moved to play quarterback.

2020 Bama would have beaten 2012 Bama by 3 TD's.

Nice try though.

So if bama had the extra cream puffs on their schedule this year like LSU had last year? How do you think bama would have faired against them? I’m not sure y’all want to see that as all those records y’all had last year would have been wiped completely out...I can see why you wouldn’t want to discuss...

Tailback. But yeah, I thought Alabama was on the path to going 9-3 or 8-4 in 2014 after a bit of a struggle in the opener against a WVU team that wasn’t good the previous season nor likely to be good in 2014. It is hard to say a Saban Alabama team overachieved but if it were ever to be said it would be for this squad. QB was not a great thrower but he mostly got the ball where it needed to go thanks to the OC Kiffin. The defense was just awful in the back seven and not ready for primetime on the front. Couldn’t even be mad that they lost in the semis because I thought they’d be in the Outback or Citrus a few months prior.

bama would have destroyed this hose cream puffs. Not denying that. But LSU would have also crushed Kentucky and Missouri last year. SO i guess thats a wash. LSU beat more top ten teams and also beat some of them in hostile environments. LSU is more accomplished.

If only Alabama got to play SoCal and Kent State or SCAR and Vandy then they could’ve been 15-0 and the best team of all-time but alas. lmao

Maybe 5th time's the charm, because everytime I ask this, I get no response.

Why is it assumed 2019 LSU, if transported to the 2020 Covid Season and given the schedule Bama faced, couldn't have put similar numbers as Alabama this year? You guys bring up those cream puffs (as if that isnt a part of all our schedules in a normal year) and always word it as what Alabama faced this year was soooo much tougher than what LSU did in an actual normal season.

LSU put up numbers against two defenses tougher than anything Alabama faced this year (Georgia and Clemson)

So tell me why Joe Burrow and LSU's offense couldn't do what Mac Jones and Bama did in empty stadiums this year?
