A&M will step back with the losses on offense. It’ll depend one a couple things. 1. The OL. Will we get a high end transfer? Will Green come back? How long will it take to gel. 2. QB play. King had the potential to be better than Mond. Will he step up right away, need a few games, need a full year? 3. Schedule. I think 1 and 2 will take a few games to figure out to get to a high enough level. If we play South Carolina & Lsu early we will be fine. If we play Bama & Mizzou early we may drop a few.
Regardless of the above, we’ll still be in the top 5 SEC and likely top 15 next year.

While we have been very fortunate, it has as much to do with player development as it does recruiting. Alabama, LSU, doesn’t matter... we wouldn’t have seen 5 and 4 from those 2 schools in the first round last April without player development. Both universities wouldn’t continue to recruit well without it either.
To the poster speaking about Mac and his declaration... he can’t declare until after the last game... Trevor had to wait until after the Orange. You should have heard all the sports radio dudes in Jacksonville jacking off when he announced knowing the Jaguars have the top pick !!

Bama shouldn’t be higher than 5 or 6 with all we will lose to the draft. DS and NH have already came back, Leatherwood also... I expect to see 2 OL, RB, QB, and 2 WR drafted, possibly all round 1, almost certainly within the first 2 rounds. That’s just offense. Don’t forget Surtain, and I hope some pro team wants a semi decent slightly used LB. He has a lot of heart, but his backups will do better with a good off season.
