You'd get an award for Wheaton. You son of a bitch, you.

SI - Mac Jones Finishes Alabama Football Career by Winning the Manning Award
quote:
NEW ORLEANS – Alabama quarterback Mac Jones was selected as the 2020 winner of the Manning Award, presented by the Allstate Sugar Bowl to the top quarterback in the nation.

Thank goodness for the UA graphics team . Their award post look so much better than the official ones.
Smith or Jones is going to get the Lombardi if they award it this year.
Hopefully PS2 gets the Lott Impact.
Don't think we have a D end who could get the Hendricks unless they consider Barmore.

Looks like he made the cut when they trimmed it down to six finalists (from the original 24) in mid-January.

January 11, 2021
The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has announced six finalists for the 17th annual Lott IMPACT Trophy.
The six finalists are:
Paddy Fisher of Northwestern
Talanoa Hufanga of USC
Tarron Jackson of Coastal Carolina
Joseph Ossai of Texas
Patrick Surtain II of Alabama
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah of Notre Dame
The finalists were chosen by conference – Big 12, ACC, SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and At Large.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy goes to the college football player who has the biggest IMPACT on his team on and off the field. IMPACT stands for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
The winner of the award will be announced on Feb. 21 at an Awards Ceremony at the Pacific Club.
PATRICK SURTAIN II, Alabama (12-0), CB, 6-2, 202, Plantation, FL: Thorpe, Bednarik and Nagurski Finalist; Projected first round NFL pick; Has 42 tackles, 7 passes broken up, one fumble recovery, 8 quarterback hurries, 8 passes defended this year; Only one touchdown against him all season; Honorable Mention AA last year; SEC Defensive Player of the Year; All-American this year.

Northwestern linebacker Paddy Fisher won the Lott IMPACT Trophy, which goes to college football’s defensive player who has made the biggest impact on his team.
The announcement was made Sunday night at the Pacific Club. The award is usually given in December, but was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Fisher had 86 tackles, 4 1/2 for loss, one interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery during the 2020 season. The senior from Katy, Texas, was also named Big Ten linebacker of the year. He finished his career with 404 tackles, most among active players.
So, looks like no Patrick Surtain.
The only Alabama player to ever win this award appears to be DeMeco Ryans in 2005.

Has there ever been a more decorated Alabama player than Devonta Smith?
I never thought I'd see the day Julio would be supplanted in my mind. But I think he's done it.
I think it's a stretch to think Smitty will have the same kind of NFL career that Julio did--he's just not built like a brick shithouse like Julio is.
But on the college football field? I think Smitty's done it. And has to be in the pantheon of top 5 or 10 best Bama players, ever.
