The Brady hire was a move generally reserved for FCS and occasionally G5 programs and you caught lightening in a bottle. Now Orgeron, realizing how his bread was buttered, is irrationally trying to replicate that success in a somewhat hilariously transparent manner.
LSU doesn't need to continue reaching and gambling on 30 year old tertiary offensive assistants with no play calling experience hoping it works out. Your program should be above this. You could go out and money whip an elite, experienced playcaller. But because Orgeron is not a very good coach and is incapable of adapting his program to maintain success, he's just trying to do what worked before absent any consideration of personnel or just how unlikely the initial success was to begin with.

Lazy would have been promoting Linehan.

Brady and Mangus played college ball together and Mangus was on staff at LSU in 2019. Mangus is Brady's right hand man. These failed LSU troll attempts are fricking gold. Plus, it was Orgeron’s assistant that made that call.
