Why would either of them come to LSU?

Because LSU could offer them superior prestige and reimbursement than their current programs. Plus, Moorehead supposedly had at least an initial Zoom interview regarding the position.

Joe Moorehead and Graham Harrell would have both been very good hires

LSU spoke to both.

LSU can't give them anything Oregon or USC can't, besides, they're both interviewing for head coaching jobs.

Never saw a group that had such explicit requirements

Couldn't be over 35 years old
Worked in certain coaches offenses
Knew Joe Brady well
Certain height
Certain weight
Wear sunglasses
Must have a pass game coordinator..(whatever the frick that is)

They are trying to clone Brady. They don't trust the head coach.

LSU doesn't need to continue reaching and gambling on 30 year old tertiary offensive assistants with no play calling experience hoping it works out

If you ever followed the nfl, there are plenty of examples of guys being qb coaches that were then hired to be the head coach with no play calling experience. Sometimes a person just needs a shot.

Almost all of you laughed on here when lsu fans said they were gonna completely revamp the offense with Brady and tear that arse up. And now the same ppl, you included, are criticizing O for trying to find the next Brady after his offense shoved your teams shite back in.... so which is it???

He wants someone who can bring back the part of the offense that was missing with Bradys expertise gone. It was the same basic offense but the expertise was gone.

So instead of hiring someone to install a whole new offense ,o asked joe who knows the most about that offense and he said those two ,the guy was working under brady this year.

I would rather keep the same offense for continuity reasons then hire Graham Harrell to come in and start over with the air raid ,which hasnt tore it up so far in the sec. This isnt a bad hire

But because Orgeron is not a very good coach and is incapable of adapting his program to maintain success,

So ,when he completely changed our offensive philosophy after a ten win season and ny6 bowl win ,only to go 15 and 0 ,that isnt changing to maintain even more success.

A ton of coaches would have thought they should continue to win ten games instead of gamble to maybe improve ,and they wouldnt have had the perfect season. That took some balls to do

That’s about the level of research CNN does for a story as well. Congrats.

You're giving them too much credit. CNN would've reported an opinion from someone "familiar with the way O's baby mama thinks about the way O thinks" as fact.

Plus, it was Orgeron’s assistant that made that call.

What would you say he actually does, other than chase pussy? He can't call plays, he can't do public speaking, he can't recruit outside of LA. Like, what does he do on a daily basis?
