I know most on here are traditional and wouldn’t be down for any change uniform wise, but I’m a damn millennial and I think if we ever did this, I would prefer an all Navy Blue uni kinda like Virginia’s .

What kind of changes even campus wise are we willing to go through to recruit top players? Will we ever support it if it’s offered? Thoughts?

I think you might be overvaluing how much recruits care about wearing a different colored uniform.

I feel you. What people don't realize is AU's uniforms have always changed. There is a guy out there who runs a website that deals strictly with AU athletics uniforms and how they've evolved. In the 30's there was a period when AU had a Notre Dame coach and that coach had AU wearing Green jerseys.

Then in the 30's/40's they also used orange jerseys quite a bit.

Then in the late 70's-81 Barfield had them wearing orange jerseys several times. Dye came in and said "I hate orange, get rid of it" and AU has been blue since.

K.

Show me something that looks good first. Everything that has been suggested looks worse than our normal uniforms. Why would we support something that looks worse just because it’s “different”?

Why does this keep getting brought up?

Recruits aren’t picking based on uniforms

And he was right. Orange is great used as a complimentary color like we use it now. But as a main color, too much orange is hideous. Just look at Tennessee.

Because Auburn fans are really weird about shite sometimes. The whole uniform changing hype thing died out years ago.

If we are talking about changes we need to make to get the recruits, it’s the facilities.

If you continued to read I also asked about them wanting to modify the campus and what you would or would not be for. Also, will people give him the money if he asks for new facilities that are better than what’s currently being produced?

You need to shut the frick up and get this hipster shite outta here.

We have two uniforms:

White hat, blue top, white pants

White hat, white top, white pants (storm trooper)

If you wanna change some shite, send some fricking wristband, sock, or cleat drawings to Under Armour.

Stop trying to frick up our uniforms. Us not conforming to this bullshite alternate uniform trend is a good thing. Once we frick it up, it's over forever.

I continued to read but your thread is mainly about uniforms since you didn’t suggest any other changes. You implied changing uniforms would help get recruits which is just out of touch.

Are you asking us if we’re willing to change the facilities? Pretty sure everyone is on board with upgrading.

Rankings are somewhat subjective, but most rankings I've seen put AU somewhere around 15th. Clemson and Oregon are undoubtedly in spots #1 and 2. Bama somewhere between 5-10. A&M solidly in top 10.

AU needs to improve for sure, but I am no millionaire and can't really help. I hope Yella steps up.
