Dan Mullen’s two best teams (2014 Mississippi State / 2020 Florida) finished with a combined record of 1-6 in late November and December games. His one Victory being against 2014 Vandy who finished 3-9.
2014 Ms State
L Alabama
W Vanderbilt
L Ole Miss
L Georgia Tech (Orange Bowl)
2020 Florida
L LSU
L Alabama (Atlanta)
L Oklahoma (Cotton Bowl)
This guy needs to go back to a mid-tier program, the more expectations, the more this guy chokes. Mullen can’t handle big time games. A 5 minute research of his record in big games shows everything you need to know. Fire this guy before Florida is perpetually 9-3.

At what point did you think Florida was good in 2020? We struggled with every team we played. Even Vandy.

State fans told Florida fans this over and over again and we were laughed at.

And just imagine if he played in the West.... 8-4 Gus says hello!

There were multiple Florida fans on here the week of the LSU game saying this team had the firepower to win a national championship. A lot of posters too, not just a couple. The 2020 team was easily the most talented of Mullen’s three teams he’s had here.

To be fair, the defense struggled. We averaged 30+ points a game.

Honestly one of the biggest problems with Florida this season is they had no leadership. Look at how Mullen acted this season and that is the attitude UF played with this season. The head coach had no discipline so the team didn’t. Makes me glad Bama has Saban. There is a reason that Bama had no opt outs this year and has not lost a game to a team not ranked in going on 100 games now. The team Bama has mirrors its head coach in its attitude and discipline. Coaching matters!!!

perpetually 9-3, like it's below Florida? Are you new to CFB?
Florida’s won 3 national titles in a 12 year span at the end of 2008. The program may be down right now but Arkansas has been in this conference for 30 years and hasn’t even won 1 SEC championship so 9-3 may be over your head but it’s not over Florida’s.

Dude definitely is one of the weakest finishers out there.

It’s almost as if Merlins only has good seasons when his regular opponents are having down seasons.

correct. His other memorable season was when LSU and Auburn were both 8-5 and his SECe opponents were Kentucky and Vandy. He was 1-3 against ranked teams, that one win coming against 8-5 #22 Auburn.

Lol I knew we weren't a elite team when we couldn't stop South Carolina's offense in Gainesville.

Uh who the frick said this?
Most the UF posters on here are somewhat rational, and I believe the feeling was make it competitive against Bama, which wasn't far fetched.
The issue is Mullen didn't spend any game prep on LSU, and that impacted the whole team.

And since 2008, you have 0 championships, and a couple of 10-2 seasons. The rest are worse than 9-3. Hence I asked if you were new to the sport. That's a long time there bub.
Before Spurrier, you were trash. After Urban, seems you've begun your regression back to trash.

Florida gave up the most yards in their history last night. Historically bad.

The Florida programs didn't really takeoff until the 80s.
UF won SEC before Spurrier ever coached.
You have been trash for generations, probably since integration and will be trash from here on out.
UF, Miami and FSU problems are the talent instate are leaving the state like never before.
That can change.
Arkansas is damn near hopeless. You have most likely never seen your team win shite and most likely never will because your program aint shite.
