But Texas did finish the year as a top 30 offense, and that’s what I was counting in the defensive stats

If you bother to look at anything I posted on this topic, you'll see I asked what fans would use for data... i left out the non SEC wins, until someone mentioned LSU playing Northwestern. To which I used Tx, since they were ranked #9 when the game was played.

So in the end... the only factor is the points scored in each win. Why points, because it fits the tune.

You see, as a bama fan... you can use number of victories over ranked SEC teams because LSU beat SEC teams rank higher. So you have to go to points per game. Plus, you can't limit it to SECCG game only, because LSU beat UGA by 27 and bama only be UF by what, 6?

So based on points, it probably won't matter that LSU won the final two games with a combined 105-53.
