My logic is that it is no more accurate than this one... or any other sports board fan commentary.
It’s all opinion without fact. Gonna be a little difficult for 2019 to play 2020... quite a few 2019 from both Alabama and LSU have other things to do.
That doesn’t make 2019 LSU better or even more impressive than 2020 Alabama... 2020 Alabama has played equal or better competition if only because there are no traditional tin can games on the schedule.

That’s the kicker right there... either Alabama wins it all this season, or there really isn’t any added comparison between 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama.

No it was the one from the guy with the pelicans logo. I have no idea what college he is a fan of, but in the thread the USC fan and several others that don’t appear to be LSU fans agreed.
In the end any place on this site is a terrible place to try to get an unbiased opinion. But I’ve seen people talk about this on Twitter, and let’s just say it didn’t end positively for Alabama, I’m talking like 80%/20% poll results for 2019 lsu, and the comments were just full of people laughing at the comparison.
That’s why I said I’m not worried about it because the only people that will say this was the best season of all time are Bama fans. There won’t be any traction

He was the only one that added any analysis, which is exactly what I stated. He wrote literal paragraphs.
I have still yet to see any single one of you successfully defend your argument, other than “teams are worse this year.”

Not really, the 2019 LSU season is pretty much universally recognized as top 3 all time and there is a ton of traction for it as the best of all time. I mean I’ve heard commentators reference it as the best of all time at least 20 times this year, to speak nothing of all the “professional” analysts who have said the same

You realize you can check their post history right? That Pelicans fan is an LSU fan. That Saints fan is an LSU fan. Almost poster there is an LSU fan. Some of the none ones like the USC fans didn’t say Bama 2019 was better then Bama 2020. Their comments were specifically about LSU 2019 vs Bama 2020.

That’s not true. I’ve told you multiple times that having a lack of spring practice, having people opt out, and having no early season games before SEC schedule to iron out kinks leads to worse teams overall. You don’t want to listen.

Ok so your little “proof” turned out to be BS so now you post this excuse. It took me literally 3 seconds to check their post history btw. It’s not like it’s some hard task. You somehow also couldn’t distinguish when someone was commenting on 2019 LSU vs 2020 Bama or 2019 Bama vs 2020 Bama.

FWIW, Sagarin would have 2019 LSU vs 2020 Bama as a pick’em on a neutral site.
What we do know is that 2020 Bama’s defense is better than 2019 LSU’s defense, by a wide margin. So now the only question is whether or not Alabama’s 2020 offense is better than 2019 LSU’s offense. I don’t believe you’ll find many (if any) metrics that favor 2019 LSU.

I mean if we’re being honest who the F cares. Every season is its own installment. Best teams of all time is just someone’s opinion.
