The SEC has 12 teams playing in bowl games this year.

The ACC has 6
The Big 12 has 6
The Big 10 has 5
The PAC-12 has 2

Because of this, we’ve drawn some really lopsided matchups. A team like Ole Miss playing #11 Indiana would never happen any other year.

South Carolina (#13 SEC) vs UAB (#2 C-USA)

Mizzou (#7 SEC) vs #15 Iowa (#3 B1G)

Florida (#3 SEC) vs #6 Oklahoma (#1 Big XII)

Mississippi State (#12 SEC) vs #24 Tulsa (#2 AAC)

Tennessee (#11 SEC) vs West Virginia (#6 Big XII)

Arkansas (#10 SEC) vs TCU (#5 Big XII)

Georgia (#4 SEC) vs Cincinnati (#1 AAC)

Auburn (#5 SEC) vs #14 Northwestern (#2 B1G)

Kentucky (#9 SEC) vs #23 NC State (#4 ACC)

Ole Miss (#8 SEC) vs #11 Indiana (#3 B1G)

Texas A&M (#2 SEC) vs #13 UNC (#3 ACC)

Because the only SEC school to bitch out of the post-season was Last Season U.

This one makes no sense to me.

Unranked AU against Big West division winner?

Are we just trying to pad the win/loss ratio for the Big?

I'm shocked we're playing Indiana... that's a slap in the face to the Big 10.

bad teams

Reminder, the SEC went 7-2 in bowls last year.

The only underdog in the SEC was Kentucky, but the Wildcats won their game with Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl. The upset losers were Auburn to Minnesota in the Outback Bowl and Mississippi State to Louisville in the Music City Bowl.

ETA: 8-2 if you count the CFP championship win.

2 win USCe gets a bowl game while 9-3 Army is left out...how embarrassing. Hey Cocks...do the right thing and give your spot to a more deserving team.

Actually it's quite common that the SEC gets lopsided match ups. Teams from the SEC often end up playing teams from other conferences of higher standing. That's what happens when you usually have 1-2 teams in the playoffs, and the conference has a stronger draw than others.

It was a set up to try to make the other conferences look competitive. It backfired.
