My Gawd, it never ends with these debased degenerates. Stealing from hospital charities just to cheat at football, Guice, this newest round of smut. Where will it end?

I thought something was weird about that story. When a parent confronts a coach about rape/abuse and gets the cold shoulder, something else is wrong.

Well two things, first, the parent didn't confront the coach for an entire year which is weird.

Also, not to discredit the girl's story, but I can see how it'd be met with some skepticism.

quote:

She met him for the first time in late June 2016 at a bar near LSU, she said. She had been drinking before she arrived, she said, and at the bar, Guice bought her several Patrón shots. She was “extremely” intoxicated, she said. Her memory of the night is fuzzy.

“I was very drunk,” she said. “Way too drunk to give consent in the first place.”

A friend of the woman, an LSU athlete at the time, told USA TODAY she was at the bar that night. She described the woman as drunk. Guice offered to drive them home and dropped the friend off first, she said.

The woman made it to her apartment, where she lived alone. She and Guice went separate ways. Sometime after, Guice texted her, asking if he could come over, she said. She said she allowed him to come over but told him nothing was going to happen.

quote:

The woman said she was not able to retrieve a copy of the text because she got a new phone and did not keep the messages. She said she searched for the message in cloud storage and old backups but was unsuccessful.

That night, Guice forced her to perform oral, then vaginal sex, she said. When she woke up in the morning, he was gone, she said. She told a few close friends that Guice had taken advantage of the situation, though she did not explicitly describe it as rape at the time, she said

By the standards we are talking about I'm not sure that is actually "weird", it is unfortunate though.

Probably a good thing Coach O. won a title last year. A lot of this stuff happening this year for LSU could have been considered unforgivable by most schools.

O hasn't really been implicated in any of this except for maybe the quote from the former player in the first Guice accusation.

I can acknowledge that are many well-documented examples of Title IX cases that turn out to be fraudulent, but that doesn't mean they're all bullshite. A lot of people endure intense physical and emotional trauma because of sexual misconduct.

Maybe factor that fact into your "automatic reaction" next time.

Terrible story. Bad news for all involved.

I won’t be dumb enough to throw all that information aside as false accusations. I’m sure there’s truth in there. There’s probably lies involved as well. Any previous investigation like this on other campuses reveals a shitstorm of accusations, truth, and falsified information.

All I will say is that this story reaching this level tells me there’s enough smoke for a fire. Of the 9 players, I’m sure some are guilty, some are innocent, and almost all made poor decisions. If this is a deep problem, people need to lose their job.

I reserve judgement anytime media puts out a piece like this. Our recent elections tell us we can’t blindly trust the media. There’s always an agenda. Hopefully we can get some concrete facts and truthful statements soon.

This doesn’t need to be a point of trolling. This is pretty serious allegations of how LSU handles this.

Players dismissed. Guice's accuser didn't file charges, still hasn't and only came forward recently. I know the pressure is immense and the uncertainty can lead to additional PTSD and anxiety, but LSU can't do anything if they don't know.

On the same token, La'el Collins nearly had his life ruined by a family looking for a payday after they accused him of lesser charges such as sexual assault and at worst potential murder.

They cost the NFL draft. He was slotted to go early 1st round.

The moment the clock hit zero at the National Championship game the chaos ensued.
OBJ handing out $100 bills to players.
O's wife Kelly hugging, kissing him on the field. Selfish O files for divorce 1 month later, giving the party animal more free time with the younger ladies.
Alleged rapes being swept under the rug.
Multiple players during the season, getting the rona virus, causing 2 postponements so far. No accountability, not being encouraged to be careful.

Probably a fan of the Saints too. The team that supports rapists and women abusers and puts stickers with the rapist and woman abusers names on their uniforms in solidarity.

LSU's overall institutional procedures relative to them slow playing cases and accusations and stretching out appeals is what will end up getting them in hot water. This isn't just LSU athletes getting preferential treatment of hiding and turning a blind eye to rape/assault. It's an internal issue within the Administration and how they handled these cases so poorly.

If the police investigate and find evidence of a crime, I’m all for having a conviction for an actual crime. That never happened in any of the cases being discussed. Also Title IX is not a legal process. There is no standard of evidence or fair process other than 3 faculty members (almost always crazy liberals) saying they believe an allegation typically with no actual evidence. The only person abused in Title IX is the accused in the majority of cases when “rape” becomes a person had consensual sex but regrets it the next day (which seems to be most of the LSU allegations). This BS is an insult to actual rape victims.

Ehh, there were accusations of a fraternity member assaulting a few girls too. While LSU slow played the entire case, refused to help the girl re-schedule some of the same classes she was in with the guy and extended his hearings multiple times until he eventually graduated. No sense of urgency was shown by anyone associated with LSU, why?

While Title IX is not a legal process, there are federal guidelines that every institution must uphold and abide by when cases are reported to University employees.

There were literally multiple allegations and it appears that some of those rape allegations may not have been were consensual sex became rape because a few females regretted it the next day.

I wish all of you had to defend yourself against an allegation in a Title IX case. You self-righteous blowhards would change your perspective. As for “federal guidelines” I was counsel for one of these cases and the college violated multiple procedures in their handbook. There is no due process. These things are total kangaroo courts.

The LSU-Florida game was postponed because of Florida, not LSU. LSU was good to go.
