They didn’t even make much of them in the 2nd half. We instantly closed the gap. Douche face made one stupid 3 and after that they were miserable shooting. We just managed to outdo them with the suckage

FT shooting and continuing to try to go to Herb down the stretch of regulation did us in. Damn shame but a fine season.

Hate how it ended but we had a great year. We did much better than expected. Not going to hate on the players or coaches. We've got it much better than the past.

It was set up perfectly for us to make another elite 8 and we squandered it big time against a decent, but not good team. It was literally right there in front of us and so many guys shite the bed. Great season but a fitting Alabama basketball finish.

I do believe that CNO will have trouble sleeping tonight due to some of the personnel decisions made in-game. Nothing we did offensively made a lick of sense at all. Perhaps that was due to UCLA forcing us off our game, if so kudos to Mick Cronin. He’s a helluva coach.

But they are very well-coached and well prepared. The two charges early were largely due to preparation...they'd seen Jones on film. And the dunk on the inbounds was a great play design.

I’m not agreeing UCLA is the better team. From
What I saw they didn’t do anything to make Herb or Shack play awful. I also don’t think they were doing anything to take away our 3 ball.
We weren’t throwing them up like normal, I am absolutely baffled at the amount of back downs and drives we had.
I will give them credit for playing well, but we didn’t show up behind the arc or the charity stripe. And two of our best players didn’t show up at all.

Their offense was way better than ours schematically. Their pick and roll messed us up every single time. Our iso ball sucked

They were the better team. They dictated the pace and flow of the game, even though I thought we dominated most of the 2nd half. We dominated it playing their style though, and that style didn’t allow us to extend our lead and step on their throat. A big part of that was the missed the free throws. Their bug guy(Riley?) really changed the game. Took away JQ’s drives and he put up close to 10 points, maybe even more than that.

3 things:
1. Free throws easily cost us the game. I mean it was such a pitiful performance that you can't help but say we lost the game more than UCLA won it
2. With the game on the line, putting the game into the hands of a badly struggling Herb instead of Quinerly was a very bad call by Oats
