I think I can officially say, I've been more excited during March in basketball, than the last few years of football. Something about being much better than expected, and making a championship run, in a sport we don't traditionally dominate.
A bunch of trolls have started with the "isn't football season boring now" bs. Football season is still awesome. Being consistently great isn't boring. But being great after years of mediocrity, just makes it feel extra special. Kinda like how your first bite of a steak tastes the best.

I'm nervous now like I am only on national championship days. Sort of feels good but I may need a screwdriver.

It was rumored that Penny used the threat of using his AAU connections to steer kids away from Memphis to leverage his way into the job, so you have to wonder if he's continuing to hold the school hostage at this point. I mean he's obviously never going to get it done because he's a horrendous coach, but he can buy some damn talent.
