He was Tebow before Tebow. He was also pretty good on the basketball team.

He was a beast and it's a shame he couldn't put together an NFL career at receiver.

If you are asking if I attended a miserable 7 OT game in the rain and went home with a L, yes.

I’m 29 but my dad was a big Razorback fan. I remember Jones well, one of my favorite Arkansas players of all time.

I was at the game in LR when the Miracle on Markham happened and Jones completed a Hail Mary TD to win over the Saban led LSU tigers and clinch the West

I will never understand how someone can cover so much ground while looking so slow.

I remember Matt Jones.

Even as an LSU fan I loved watching that guy play (just not against us)

His stride was so long that he looked like he was moving slow but he was burning everyone

Didn't he end up having some sort of drug issue?

Yeah, I always liked watching Matt Jones, and later Ryan Mallett.

I remember him. He was really really good. Those clips brought back a lot memories of old school SEC football

I remember him mostly for 1 single play. The fumble at Tennessee when he
Wasn't touched. Similar to Tuas last
Season against LSU. His speed was very
Deceiving though.

His option keeper at 4:06 was amazing. shows his speed as good as any highlight.

edit: the dunk at 5:13 was his first collegiate basket.

Unfortunately I remember him all too well. He had big plays against Alabama.

I sat through an 1.5 hour storm delay before the 2003 Alabama-Arkansas game. Only to see it go to 2 OTs after Alabama blew a huge lead. And then Alabama loses in OT.

Absolutely remember Matt Jones in college and in the NFL.

He had the right stuff for the pros, he was one of the only bright spots on those mid-2000 Jacksonville offenses.

Pepperidge farm remembers.

Na, anyone old enough to remember our current RB coach playing for us remembers Matt Jones. No way they don't.

I always liked Jones but hated playing against him. Anyone Cam Newton's size that can run a 4.37 40 is a phenomenal athlete.

I just never understood why he warranted a 1st round selection as a WR, a position he had never played full time in his career...

Auburn members all too well. He seemed to torch us every year. Was such a thorn in our side.

You mean wasted draft pick for the Jaguars, Matt Jones? Yeah, I remember him. How's his coke habit these days?
