There is a mutiny
Everyone is jumping overboard
The captain has lost control of the crew

The opposite actually. Leach is making players walk the plank.

Just a day after three players entered the transfer portal for Mississippi State, the Bulldogs have three more that are on their way out in the middle of the season.
A source told Genespage247 that junior wide receiver Tyrell Shavers, junior defensive end Tre Lawson and freshman defensive end Jamari Stewart are all leaving the program. That marks seven players that have left the program since last week joining sophomore quarterback Garrett Shrader from last week and sophomore QB Jalen Mayden, freshman offensive lineman Nick Pendley and senior running back Kareem Walker.

Dumb post. We knew several QB’s would likely be transferring long before they finally put in the portal. The other guys never panned out and were bench warmers. The sky is falling only in your head.

I mean, it's not like these guys were going to lift us to any additional wins. We hired Leach to build his program. Looks like he's doing just that. He gets 3 years. I'd much rather see this in year 1 than next year.

QB Jalen Mayden :
"Over his three years at Mississippi State, Mayden went 1-for-2 for 9 yards and had seven rushes for 32 yards, all of which came during three games in 2018."

You are assuming he had control to begin with.

What is this 15 players leaving in the past week?

We knew this coming.. The 3rd and 4th string QB transferring? Who would think it? A 4th string running back? Hmmm ok. The only 2 that might be shocking is an OL and Shavers. I'm pretty sure that there are going to be more. Leach said 2 weeks that they are fence riders.

All their best players are abandoning ship. The Pirate tripped over his own peg leg!

Leach is just cleaning house. MSU will be better for it in the long run

quote:No it's not. As much as I would love this to be the case, Leach is doing what he has always done. Kicking out the turds that stink up the room regardless of how good they are.

This is a good thing for state long term

Will be pretty funny if MSU goes 1-9 this year - and their lone win was over the defending NC

I’m definitely back in the skeptic camp, especially considering some of our other options this past hiring round.
