I thought the point was to get it right but it seems that they are the center is controversy. They gifted Auburn 2 wins this year. It's complete bullshite.

Similar to English premier league VAR

Further review would've confirmed the call made on the field. Kiffin could've but didn't challenge it.

Holy crap, I thought for sure this was gonna be yet another shitty Gus season.
Kentucky, Arkansas, and Ole Miss fans are making it fricking glorious!
They are like the Jelly of the Month Club, Clark!

I’d be livid if I was an Auburn fan. Only a few more of these and it’s extension time for The Bus.

Yeah but the perpetual melts from the poors of the conference are at least making it entertaining.

It was reviewed ...One look and there was no need to delay the game .....
The problem is your belief that the announcers know or understand the rules ....Apparently just like you don't
Here is the rule.
8-6-1-b
b. A kick becomes dead by rule behind the defending team’s goal line and the attacking team is responsible for the ball being there (Exception: Rule 8-4-2-b) (A.R. 6-3-4-III).
8-7-2-a
Initial Impetus
ARTICLE 2. a. The impetus imparted by a player who kicks, passes, snaps or fumbles the ball shall be considered responsible for the ball’s progress in any direction even though its course is deflected or reversed after striking the ground or after touching an official or a player of either team (A.R. 6-3-4-III; A.R. 8-5-1-II, VI and VIII; and A.R. 8-7-2-I-IV).
The officials got it right and every announcer and most fans, including Kiffin and Chizik got it wrong.

You shush.. Let them help the Gus Bus stay off the hot seat. Barn might give him another raise and extension.

It just occurred to me - the Auburn fans running from thread to thread, taking such personal delight and satisfaction in getting yet another gift from the officials reminded me of something, but I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. I thought it was Duke fans, but that wasn't exactly it. Just as much smug - but lacking the upper crust Mid-Atlantic snobbery. It's understandable. Your typical Duke fan has had a literal lifetime to master his craft.
I got it now. These are the same people that somehow derived personal satisfaction from being supporters of the Four Horsemen, back in the NWA days. Buying the gear, feeling better about themselves, over a completely contrived and scripted event.
Are you enjoying "The Melt", Barn fans ? Are you getting a great big kick from clicking on an emoji you didn't create, posting about a sporting event you didn't participate in, while defending yet another SEC officiating blunder that everyone in the room not wearing blue and orange can see as plain as the visor on Malzahn's head ? Are you getting a much needed self-esteem boost while criticizing "The Poors" in the league ? Well - every cloud has a silver lining. At least some of you are getting some reading practice in, scouring the rule books. Helpful hint - all those weird letters that don't spell anything ? Those are roman numerals.
I hope the War Eagle flies into a spinning wind turbine before it's remains fall and get impaled on whatever is left from the Toomer Tree, while it's guts fly into Malzahn's open yap as he calls the next RPO and hopes for the best from Birmingham.

I’d be doing and saying the same shite if I were an Auburn fan
Not their fault and they got the win. I’d be yakking it up
